Danish outdoor nationals round 1, was held in the town Vejle. It is a big track and I think its maybe the coolest track in Denmark for 1:10 electric outdoor with a lot of curves, chicanes, and big straights.
The Vejle club did a perfect job to keep the race going well, but on Saturday we could not practice that much because of rain, so we had very limited track time to test the cars but both my cars were feeling very good!

In the super stock class, my car was super fast and I could TQ all qualifiers. My new XRAY team mate Steven Olsen was also fast but made 2 big mistakes in the qualification rounds, so he would line up 3rd on the grid.

In the first final I dominated the race and won the final with 8 seconds lead to my team mate Steven who could pass Soren after he flipped.
Second final my car felt like no traction and was spinning in the big sweeper, I could get 3rd after that because I rolled the car 2 times on the big curbs. - Steven made a nice move out on the straight to overtake Soren and take the win with 2 tenth to Soren.
Last final my car was again very good and I won the final with 3-4 seconds to Soren and Steven.

In the modified class, my car felt like understeering all the time, and I tried different setup tweaks every run to make it better - in the end I could TQ the race after we had 3 drivers on different TQ runs, but I had a 2nd place so I got the overall TQ.
Home track fast driver was Frederik Hovgaard he had the fastest TQ run, after I made a little mistake in that run, my battery was very bad, and I had no power in this run.
Young Patrick Danielsen made some good runs to go into the A-main in

In the first final I made a good start and I could go a little bit from the field. Frederik made a mistake on lap 4, and had to go down in the field. Lindegaard was now in second place and was trying to wheel me in but I just kept driven easy not to overheat my front tires, so the main ended with a win, and Lindegaard in second 2 seconds after. 3rd was Johnni Andersen.
In Second final I and Frederik and Lindegaard got away from the field, and on lap 8 Nicolai had a mistake in on the straight, tried to go back and Callesen hit him because no one said anything, both cars were totally broken after the full speed crash. Frederik and I, kept the fight, but after I hit a curb I had no traction and Frederik got the lead after a nice overtake! - He won the final, as I was driving easy after a mistake and safe the tires. Johnni again made a good run to 3rd this main.
Last final I made some tweaks to keep the car from stopping in the corners, and this was working very well! Now it was a race to seal the win for both me and Frederik! Again I and Hovgaard got away, Nicolai made it to 3rd but was crashing end of the straight on lap 3, so he was out of the challenge for the podium. Frederik and I had an amazing battle, super close racing, ones I hit the curbs out on the straight it was just made for the race so if you hit this you had no traction, I could see Frederik was on the inside so I let him pass, and we could continue the fight! - I made big pressure on Hovgaard and on the end of straigth he hit the curbing a got a little wide, I was going on the inside to get the 1st place, I could now take it more easy and block Frederik, he made a small mistake on last lap so I won with a half second. Thanks for a nice battle!
